You’ll see I’M JEFFREY AND I’M A SERIAL KILLER, a black comedy directed by Gary Chason and featuring lots of Austin actors and a big Bastrop crew. The film was shot here in town--see if you can guess where?
NOWHERE MAN, a three-part Chaplinesque serio-comic series written by Upstart’s GIGGLES AND SCREAMS class and directed by Sidney Brammer. The series stars Rick Perkins. This, too, was shot locally and features a lot of Bastrop extras.
EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, a horror flick directed by Carolyn Banks and written by John Gosselink, a teacher at Genesis High School. This film stars Bastrop locals Nikki Fahrenthold and William Ogle and was shot here in town.

Whether you’re a method actor or have developed your own method, you must be able to perform for the camera to work in film. This 2-day intensive workshop will focus on the skills you need on the set; including working with a film director, intense scene study, dramatic motivation, on-camera blocking, working with other actors and much more!
About the Instructor:
Greg Carter is one of Houston’s busiest filmmakers. Since his debut film Fifth Ward in 1998, Greg has directed six feature films, including Thug’s Life, My Big Phat Hip-Hop Family, Treasure In Tha Hood and Resurrection: The J.R. Richard Story. Currently, Greg is in pre-production on two new feature films, Black Man’s Guide to Understanding Black Women which is scheduled to begin production this Spring and Open All Night, scheduled to shoot the Summer of 2005. Greg was recently featured on the cover of the September 2, 2004 issue of Houston Press.
